Michael Elgin has been on a huge roll since GCW-NS has returned earlier this year. Racking up victories, a 4 way victory over Eric Carnie, "Hacker" Scotty O'Shea and Anthony Fiasco winning the Internet title, 3 Title defenses besting Miek Alias, Kenneth Crisis and defeated Ethan Page, Bruno Davis and Scotty Turner in a 4 Corners match, plus a 30 minute draw with "Dangerboy" Derek Wylde which is a MOTY candidate. Michael Elgin has been the MVP of GCW-NS in 2009. How fitting that the first show of 2010 Elgin squares off with another MVP Michael Von Payton. MVP has been turning heads in Ottawa this year for C4 with outstanding matches against everyone under the sun. Also with countless top notch matches for PWA, he has his sights set on gold, what will be the outcome of this must see encounter?


BRASS KNUCKLES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Borris Brezhnev (c) vs. Xtremo


Borris Brezhnev, "The Russian Bear" turned heads on Dec 10th by winning the BRASS KNUCKLES TITLE in only his second match for GCW-NS. The big man promises victory and to be the longest reigning champion in GCW-NS history. Xtremo makes his return to Oshawa over almost a year of absence. Xtremo looks to make an impact in his return as he has vowed to add more gold to his long history of title wins. Xtremo, although small in stature Carry's a chiseled frame, and outstanding in ring prow-less Xtremo poses a huge threat to the newly crowned champion.

Ethan Page and Joey Kings, had a long road to become the Undisputed tag team champion. They have risen above the rest, to stake claim as the best tag team in GCW-NS. Cocky and arrogant have stated they can beat any tag team in the world. They may eat their words on February 20th. ROH tag team Super Smash brothers are ready to step up to the plate, and let Oshawa know why they have been on a roll as of late. A huge victory in Mississauga over Former ROH tag team champions, El Generico and Kevin Steen made them a top contender for any tag team gold. they have their chance, and look to turn even more heads in the world of Pro wrestling.


Anthony Fiasco vs. Sebastian Suave w/Jamie Virtue

Suave was furious after the miscue with Virtue costing him a win over Anthony Fiasco. He stats it was a fluke, and that he is still "Your Savior". Suave has promised victory, and to introduce Fiasco to his world, a world where Sebastien Suave is the end all be all.
Fiasco, has been turning heads in 2009. the Front runner for Rookie of the year is on a steady incline, not to be slowed down. back to back victories, in GCW-NS has made the Oshawa crowd realize this young rookie is here to stay. Will Fiasco upset Suave on more time?


Steve Brown vs. "Psycho" Mike Rollins

Steve Brown, former BRASS KNUCKLES CHAMPION is upset with his loss. He vows to right his wrongs and get back on a winning track, and to recapture gold. The big man, weighing almost 400lbs is always a force to be reckoned with and knows it. Will size be the answer? Or will new fan favorite "Psycho" Mike Rollins continue to climb the ranks? The unorthodox Rollins, showed why he has unlimited potential by beating Kenneth Crisis on DEC 10th. Another victory could get him one step closer to a title shot. Will Rollins, improve his winning streak or will Steve Brown show that Size really does matter?


Alex York vs. Scotty Turner

GCW-NS prides itself on its use of up and coming talent. The young guys who have the heart and desire to compete at a high level on competition. On February 20th, Alex York and Scotty Turner look to do so. Scotty Turner came up short in his GCW-NS debut in Port Perry in a 4 way GCW-NS Internet title match, but showed that he has what it takes. Alex York, one of the smallest men in Ontario, but his heart is a different story. Taking all shapes and sizes of competitors, whether they are bigger, stronger or faster, he always proves to be ready for a fight. His victory over Eric Carnie in October proved he was a talented individual. These 2 square off in what has to be considered a guaranteed, show stealer.
